Jill is our resident of the month. She has lived at Caraton Commons for six months. Jill is 61 years young. Jill grew up in Green Bay her fondest memory is her grandparents owned a bar, she would go there and sit at the bar drink Shirley Temples and the people there would sometimes buy her chips and snacks. Another favorite memory of hers is when REO Speedwagon came to town she went to their concert one of the band members threw out his guitar pick and Jill caught it. Jill’s family includes her son Brandon and her daughter Meghan. Her grandparents raised her and she said “everyone always told me they did a great job raising me”. We asked Jill what song always brought her on the dance floor and she told us Old Time Rock and Roll. Jill’s favorite season is Fall. She said the temperature is the best, she also stated her favorite month is October because it's her and her son’s birthday month. Her favorite food is lasagna. We asked Jill if she had a superpower what would it be? She answered “healing my friends and family”. Jill wanted to share some advice “make sure you help eachother it makes things easier for everyone on your journey and theirs too”. Jill shared what she likes most about Caraton Commons is the staff. They are so helpful. Caraton Commons is so lucky to have a resident like Jill.

Ivette’s favorite part of her job is having fun during activities and planning events for everyone. She also enjoys manicure day, “it’s something about seeing the ladies smile after getting their nails done” she says. One thing people might not know about Ivette is she knows ASL (American Sign Language). We asked Ivette where she sees herself in ten years. She answered, “hopefully living my best life traveling and owning a home”. Some hobbies she shared are spontaneous concerts, art and crafts, and she will always make time to read a good book. Ivette has always had an interest in traveling. She wants to see Asia and Europe as her top goals in life. Ivette shared that her family includes her Mom and Dad, and her two cats Harley and Skye. Caraton Commons is lucky to have a great employee like Ivette.
